The skirt is black and mid-calf in length. Taffeta ruffles decorate the hem of the skirt.

The skirt has 2 drawstring laces that hike up the front of the skirt. You can wear the skirt in 3 ways: long, just one drawstring hiked up, for an asymmetric look, or both drawstrings hiked up.

The skirt waistband is adjustable, having a taffeta tie at the back.

This cape has been inspired by the Interview with the Vampire character, Claudia, hence the name.

It is a medium length cape, 77 cm (30 inches) from the neck down, and it’s made of very soft matte velvet.

It is fully lined with dark red lining fabric giving you true vampiric vibes, and it’s decorated on all the edges with a ruffled trim handmade by us especially for this design. The cape closes with a handmade bow at the neck.

This cape is made to order and it takes 2-3 weeks to be made!

The ruffled trim and the bow are made of the same fabric used to line the interior of the cape, so it’s a beautiful and cohesive piece.

Thanks to the quality of the velvet and the lining, the finished garment is rather heavy and it doesn’t just look beautiful but it also keeps the wearer warm during spring and autumn, so it’s a very versatile design.

If you layer up under your cape, you can even wear it in a mild winter! The cape only fastens at the neck, so it flows open when you walk therefore it’s not fitted for very cold weather as it’s not meant to stay closed at all times and protect the wearer from the elements.

This cape is made of half a circle of fabric so it is very wide and it can fit on ALL sizes. It has fitted shoulders.
