I received the dress a bit earlier than expected, and I absolutely loved it! However, there are some small issues that prevented me from giving this a 5* review that I feel need to be addressed.

Pros:
– Amazing quality! Seriously, the way everything feels, from the stitches to the fabric, is beyond words. Also, the fact that is was trimmed to fit my measurements is a very nice plus!
– Looks divine. It swiches and moves around just like I thought it would, and feels really comfortable.

Cons:
– My main issue is with the sleeves. I was expecting to receive ribbons to tie them like in the photos, but instead there’s just a simple string, and for me, it was cut too short to adjust the sleeves comfortably. I’ll have to go and buy some new ribbon or string, which is a bit of a hassle considering the price of the dress, and means that the product photos are not true to what you receive.
– The bustier sits a bit low for me, even with the big ribbons tied as short as possible, so I have to wonder what it’d be like on smaller frames (I’m an M/L for reference). Maybe it’s because I don’t know quite how to adjust it yet, but I feel like it’s worth mentioning.

Overall those are issues that can easily be looked past, but I hope it helps the team to improve on the product next time someone orders it! Thank you for your amazing craftmanship and for the beautiful dress <3

I purchased the fashion stays in the black & gold birds fabric and was utterly blown away by the beauty and quality. Truly lovely and a great fit too due to the adjustable nature of the design. I paired it with a vintage blouse I got secondhand and a floor length skirt (with pockets) Maria and Oana previously made as a custom order. The ensemble is gorgeous and the stays really brought the whole thing together. Thank you so much for making these and continuing to bring my period drama fantasies to life!

Everywhere I walked at the renaissance faire this last Saturday kept complimenting on how beautiful the corset (someone even yelled from across a stand to say how beautiful my outfit looked) was and I even got to give some other ladies your website to see your dresses too! I adore this outfit so much and just the skirt was everything for me too! I’m always so paranoid skirts like these would make me look fatter than I feel comfortable with but the way you designed it really made me look shapely/curvy and the genius of how you designed it too really helped! Because I tend to yo-yo with my weight so I get smaller sometimes and the design of this will make it easy for me to continue using! The chemise was also very breathable and light considering how humid it was that day.

Absolutely stunning! The most beautiful, high quality dress I will ever own. The craftsmanship is superb and the fabric is so high quality. Plus I didn’t have to worry about extra weight gain from pregnancy because the laces are very forgiving and customizable – in 3 places (front and both sides)! I’m wearing it to my first Ren Faire this weekend and I will be sure to share photos of it.

One of the best purchases I have ever made! This corset is absolutely beautifully made with the colors and pattern looking exactly like the pictures (I got the ivory floral pattern). It is well constructed and so comfortable. I have a larger bust so I was worried about how it might look on me but it looks perfect! It looks gorgeous with a white chemise that I already had as well as on top of a white blouse with jeans. I am definitely going to be wearing it often!

The corset is absoutely gorgeous! It is a piece that I will forever treasure and I am convinced that it will last a lifetime. The quality of the seams and the luxurious navy blue brocade really made me question my spending habits and I will surely limit my fast-fashion clothing purchases from now on. It’s versatility is something I did not expect, I wore it on one ocassion with a flowy off-shoulder blouse and a pair of casual trousers and the juxtaposition was quite wonderful.
All in all, the piece shows amazing craftmanship and I would recommend anyone to buy it! Thank you, Maria and Oana!

I absolutely love this dress! I remember seeing this listed on Etsy a few years ago and was set on making this my wedding dress. I bought it in burgundy and it is so beautiful in person. It’s sturdy, flowy, and comfortable. I am glad that my dream dress from a few years ago is the dress I will be wearing for my wedding. Thank you!

I fell in love with this dress the moment the girls first posted it on Instagram. I had saved the post and kept revisiting it until I finally gathered the courage to contact Maria and Oana and inquire about a custom wedding dress based on the original Mona design. Not only were they on board with my request, they even went the extra mile to ensure that everything they did matched my vision of the perfect wedding dress. I am so, so happy with the result, as it’s enchanting, a bit quirky and clearly made with my (the customer) satisfaction in mind! Oh, and regarding the original Mona dress – I saw it in person and it’s exactly as in the pictures, if not better – I genuinely gasped when I saw it, the details are absolutely perfect!

UNBELIEVABLY gorgeous! it just arrived, i put it on immediately and i never want to take it off. I paired it with an elizabethan smock that i just finished making and i adore how they look together. the top is beautifully, carefully made, and the ajustable side design is so smart. it’s also very supportive (for me, better than a bra). the shipping was also amazingly fast coming to the US all the way from Romania.
